National Gospel and Harvest Celebration - Life moves forward in the Smoky Mountains 11/12ths of the year, but during October we take several steps back and take a look where we came from. To celebrate the mountains and the culture, Dollywood invites a month's worth of Gospel entertainment to play in the theaters while the most talented artisans in the country set up shop all over the park. With the cool air over a backdrop of orange and red mountains, this could be the most magical part of the year before Christmas, so be sure to stop by once you're in town. Every October 3rd through November 1st
Festival of the Nations - Undoubtedly the most culturally unique experience in Sevier County, Festival of the Nations has been opening Dollywood for years and will likely continue to do so for years to come. The booths and theatres all transform to accommodate talents from Ireland, South America, Asia, Africa, Russia and many other places from around the globe. Every March 28th through April 27th
Dollywood KidsFest - Naturally, Dollywood wanted to take advantage of the big Summer Vacation by offering a solstice-wide festival aimed particularly at young kids, and you should too. 2 or 3 visits to KidsFest at Dollywood could be the most fun your children have all summer with Creature Adventures, Veggie Tales, roaming characters and many other opportunities that are either family-friendly, educational, or both. Parents might even have some fun too, so be sure you don't miss it. Every June 12th through August 2nd
Smoky Mountain Christmas - Now we come to the most magical part of the year for people of all ages and Dollywood does its best to help celebrate it with old favorites like Babes in Toyland and Christmas in the Smokies. Then there's The Polar Express 4D Experience, Christmas with the Kingdom Heirs, Victorian Melodies, Appalachian Christmas and still more. Between all those sets you and the kids can find year-round fun with the Roller Coaster Rides, the County Fair, The Train, The Craftsman's Valley, The Water Rides (well, not year round, its not fun to get wet when its cold), the shops, and the restaurants, there's even an old fashioned 50's era area. The magic is alive and well at Dollywood Every November 8th through Jan 3rd
Green Valley Motel is also within walking distance to Dolly's Dixie Stampede, a dinner and show theater with musical and comedy talent, plus live animals and dancing. There is a 50-minute opening show before the main event. The Dinners consist of whole Rotisserie Chickens, Barbecued Pork Loin, Corn on the Cob, Homemade Biscuit, Vegetable Soup, Vegetable Pasta just to start.
